Connections can be moved from their original locations to attach to a box at any point.  The two    "Handles" shown along a connector are used to move it. By clicking and dragging on one, the end of the line nearest the handle moves while the other end remains anchored in place.  The handles may be shown or hidden by a menu command.  If an end of a connecting line is dragged over to another box, it will become attached to that box instead of the one it was originally attached to.
